This packaging of the mince variant I've bought looks different (and it was just 200g) but I forgot to take a photo I'm not sure how long they have been available here in the Philippines, but I just noticed them a few days before Holy Week this year. These looks really cheap and shady but damn they taste really close to actual cream puffs (not cheesy despite it being labeled as cheese flavored, perhaps they placed more vanilla than cheese). It doesn't taste like Japanese style cream puffs (like Beard Papa), but it tastes like cream puffs you can sometimes get in random neighborhood bakeries across Metro Manila which tend to have its filling in a darker colour and tastes a lot sweeter too.  Regent Creme Puff Cheese Flavored Cream Puffs -  I can't remember the exact price but I think it was less than 10php per pack. I love Kalderetang Kambing. Every time I visit the province I would really look forward to eating this. When I heard that there was a place serving goat meat near me, I really wanted to go right away. Good thing I had business near the area so I inevitably passed by it earlier today! I almost missed Kambingan ni Mang Ben ; while it had a red awning, signs and everything the place is small and there was a car obstructing the place (although the car went on its way shortly). I've always wanted to try how Chajangmyun (Jjajangmyun) tastes like. I've been meaning to go to a Korean restaurant to try authentic Chajangmyun but it looks like I won't be able to go restaurant hopping for a while. I suddenly wanted to eat KFC for dinner, so I went to their official website to look at their menu so I won't spend much time looking at the menu when I get there. I saw the link to their new online delivery website and was pleasantly surprised since I didn't know they started offering an online delivery service. I decided to try it out. Ordering through the website was a breeze even though there was a bug (?). When I tried ordering a 2pc. chicken meal, it doesn't add to my cart, but when I made the quantity 2, it pushed through (but the quantity on the cart indicated that I ordered just one). There's a new food cart franchise near where I live. It's called Shabu Shabu Express . You get to choose what you want (noodles + soup or just noodles) along with your desired topping. I bought soup and noodles with the Kung Fu Panda and crab topping. I've read some raves about their toppings and it didn't disappoint. Despite Kung Fu Panda's appearance (it looks more like an eraser than food, and it doesn't look like a panda), it wasn't bad. As for the crab, I really liked its taste. Just be careful when eating it. I didn't really noticed the crab claw sticking out at first, but luckily, my sister pointed it out as I was about to take a huge bite. The noodles and soup though, were really bad. It tastes like soap (not that I've eaten soap). We didn't get to finish eating them because it gave off a really soapy taste that lingered on our tongues long after we stopped eating.  I'm probably won't buy from them again.

I've been using Mcdonald's online delivery service quite frequently for the past month. I was working till the wee hours of morning lately, and Mcdonald's is the only fast food chain that offers 24 hour delivery in our area (Malabon). Most of the time, the delivery service was smooth and was on time. Last September 2 (pushing September 3), I wasn't in the mood for Mcdonald's but my stomach is grumbling and there was no food in our house. After placing an order online, we waited for more than 30 minutes for the confirmation call, before my sister started egging me to call the hotline. I love cream puffs. It's no secret that it's my favorite choux based pastry. My favorite would be Peter Pan Bakery's cream puffs. It's located in Banawe, and I can't always go there as much as I would like. So, whenever I have a serious cream puff craving and can't go to Banawe, I buy cream puffs at Mabini Home Bake Shop. Taken while waiting for the cream puffs Mabini Home Bakeshop is a quaint bakeshop in Mabini Street, Caloocan. It's a few minutes away (on foot) from San Roque Parish. They have been on business since 1966, and that's a long time. With that alone, you'd be almost sure that you won't get disappointed with their food. Their cream puffs are not too sweet, and is available in two different sizes. They also have other goodies, but aside from their cream puffs I've only tried their cookies (which are also good).
