Beach Life Virtual Resort: Spring Break - Opening and Editing The .BLE Game Files

Image
images taken from the game and from the game manual I have an itch to play Beach Life every now and then. The last time it happened, I found a band-aid solution to guests complaining about high prices. I wanted to make more changes if I could but I couldn't find a way to open and read some of the script files. There are some files in the game that are readable on notepad ( GameParameters.pis and the other . pis files on each scenario and sandscenario folder) but when you try to open up the . ble files, you only see random symbols. I've tried tools that I've seen recommended online ( Game Extractor , Ghidra , Offzip to name a few). Admittedly, I did just glaze over them because I know nothing about reverse engineering a game and didn't know what to do. I have an inkling to play it again recently, and I decided to try an idea that has been looming over my head but have been avoiding.... The GameParameters.pis file had a header containing the file name, and I notice...

Let's get some shoes, BETCH!

I've been enjoying Liam Kyle Sullivan's " Kelly " videos since 2008, but it was just this week when I picked up the 'Shoes' album featuring the songs used in those videos. Aren't we friends? My favorite track is 'Txt Msg Breakup'. It's not because it was the first Kelly video I've seen, It's just that it has a bit 'darker' feel than the other songs. Even without seeing those videos, I think most people will still like 'Shoes'. Though, I think those who have seen the videos will be able to appreciate the tracks in the album more. What do I want for my birthday? Not shoes. Somebody get me a ' Betch ' t-shirt instead.

Cream Puffs - revisited

Last Thursday I went to some place in Balintawak to pass my resume since I'm in dire need of an OJT. Me and my friend got lost and ended up being (almost) 30 minutes late. The people there are nice though. We finished quite early, so I decided to go to Banawe for some cream puffs. I forgot the name of the bakery (it was 'Peter Pan' I think), but it's hard to miss since it's located beside the Philippine Orthopedic Hospital. It was around 10:30 but the cream puffs aren't ready yet. Well, they finished baking the puffs but the cream filling and toppings aren't done. By 12:15, the cream puffs were ready (yes, I waited for almost 2 hours). I bought 16 pieces, half of it for my two bestfriends, and half of it to take home. It was a big bigger (or a bit more puffier) than before. The caramel topping is thicker, and the cream filling sweeter and more yellow. LOL. It was still good though. My sister, who hated those cream puffs before had a sudden change of he...

Japanese and Korean Grocery Stores in Cartimar

Image
Classes were dismissed early yesterday and I don't want to go home yet. I've been searching for a particular Korean frozen treat '뽕따 (Bbong Ddah)' and since I heard that there are a few Japanese and Korean grocery stores inside Cartimar, I decided to go there. I don't know how to go to Cartimar. The only time I went there was to buy a puppy when I was a kid and I was with my dad and we had a car. I texted my sister for help and thanks to Google, she was able to give me directions. From school (in Sta. Mesa Manila), I rode a jeep en route to 'Divisoria'. Instead of going inside the LRT line 2 Recto station (the line 2 Recto station and line 1 Doroteo Jose station are connected), I got off at Avenida and decided to walk until I reach Carriedo station. I wanted to go first to a shop in Avenida wherein they're selling various odds and ends from Japan, but I decided against it since I don't want to come up short during grocery shopping (food is more ...
