Beach Life Virtual Resort: Spring Break - Opening and Editing The .BLE Game Files

Image
images taken from the game and from the game manual I have an itch to play Beach Life every now and then. The last time it happened, I found a band-aid solution to guests complaining about high prices. I wanted to make more changes if I could but I couldn't find a way to open and read some of the script files. There are some files in the game that are readable on notepad ( GameParameters.pis and the other . pis files on each scenario and sandscenario folder) but when you try to open up the . ble files, you only see random symbols. I've tried tools that I've seen recommended online ( Game Extractor , Ghidra , Offzip to name a few). Admittedly, I did just glaze over them because I know nothing about reverse engineering a game and didn't know what to do. I have an inkling to play it again recently, and I decided to try an idea that has been looming over my head but have been avoiding.... The GameParameters.pis file had a header containing the file name, and I notice...

Pan de Kopi

Since I was supposed to go the National Library today, but didn't because I misplaced my library i.d. I was really looking forward to visiting the library to read ' Barangay ' by William Henry Scott and 'The Fireless Inferno' by Arnel Salgado. Sure, there are scans of them online but I also have to research a bit for school, so I was feeling down. (I don't really want to pay 100 bucks to replace my lost i.d. since I'm sure it's just here around somewhere.) To cheer me up, my sister went to MC (Malabon Citisquare), a small shopping center near our house to buy me some food. She came home with a creme brulee frappe , a chocolate frappe, a strawberry crepe and a chocolate crepe. I was surprised since MC isn't the type of place where you'll find that sort of food (the place is crawling with siomai stands and the like). The name of the kiosk (yep, a kiosk) where she bought our snack was Pan de Kopi. Chocolate Frappe Cream Brulee Frappe ...

Mabini Home Bake Shop

I love cream puffs. It's no secret that it's my favorite choux based pastry. My favorite would be Peter Pan Bakery's cream puffs. It's located in Banawe, and I can't always go there as much as I would like. So, whenever I have a serious cream puff craving and can't go to Banawe, I buy cream puffs at Mabini Home Bake Shop. Taken while waiting for the cream puffs Mabini Home Bakeshop is a quaint bakeshop in Mabini Street, Caloocan. It's a few minutes away (on foot) from San Roque Parish. They have been on business since 1966, and that's a long time. With that alone, you'd be almost sure that you won't get disappointed with their food. Their cream puffs are not too sweet, and is available in two different sizes. They also have other goodies, but aside from their cream puffs I've only tried their cookies (which are also good).
