Beach Life Virtual Resort: Spring Break - Opening and Editing The .BLE Game Files

Image
images taken from the game and from the game manual I have an itch to play Beach Life every now and then. The last time it happened, I found a band-aid solution to guests complaining about high prices. I wanted to make more changes if I could but I couldn't find a way to open and read some of the script files. There are some files in the game that are readable on notepad ( GameParameters.pis and the other . pis files on each scenario and sandscenario folder) but when you try to open up the . ble files, you only see random symbols. I've tried tools that I've seen recommended online ( Game Extractor , Ghidra , Offzip to name a few). Admittedly, I did just glaze over them because I know nothing about reverse engineering a game and didn't know what to do. I have an inkling to play it again recently, and I decided to try an idea that has been looming over my head but have been avoiding.... The GameParameters.pis file had a header containing the file name, and I notice...

A'Pieu Honey & Milk Lip Balm

Image
I admit I'm a lip balm whore  hoarder. Even at groceries or drugstores, if I see one that I haven't tried before I'm just itching to buy it! I think it's because lip balms are usually cheap that's why I always end up buying one even if I still have several other lip balms lying around the house. Enter A'Pieu Honey & Milk Lip Balm. The packaging is bright and cute so it was hard to pass it up. Main active ingredients are: Honey - makes lip skin healthy Milk Protein Extracts - makes lips firm and moisturized Vitamin E acetate - skin protectant I have chappy lips days prior to using it, and it has calmed the chapping down after around 1-2 days of mild use. I do not lick my lips so I don't really reapply lip balm that much. I don't know if I'm just crazy but the smell reminds me also of sponge cakes that are baked with lemon rind. I do not think there is any lemon or citrus ingredients list, but the perfume may be citrus based....

Cosrx Blackhead and Pore Zero Patch Review

Image
I ran out of Biore pore strips and I've been wanting to use a pore strip for a few days now and suddenly remembered I have a Cosrx Blackhead and Pore Zero Patch sample lying around. I was disappointed upon opening it, as it wasn't a pore strip - it's a cotton like patch/mask soaked in liquid. It also has two strips inside and I wasn't sure what to do with the second one so I just sealed the package again for later use (the packaging doesn't reseal but I have my ways). Instructions for the Step 1 Patch I applied it on my nose and waited for around 15 minutes. It was the longest 15 minutes of my life since I'm anxious to find out if it will really remove blackheads, because it wasn't exactly a pore strip, it's literally just like other Korean face mask sheets except it is specifically shaped for the nose area. After removing it, I inspected my face under a flashlight (lol). The instruction was to use a q-tip/cotton swab to remove rai...

Three Meals A Day - Gate To The Night Tea

Image
Three Meals a Day - Gate to the Night Tea I remember googling Gate to the Night Tea when they first had it at 'Three Meals a Day' but I guess since the English Sub from Channel M is a loose translation of the tea I couldn't find any info. Or maybe my Google Search skills that day was weak. I really liked 3 Meals a Day so I was really bummed out that it ended last year. I suddenly remembered the tea that they always drink; I don't really like tea that much (I drink it when it's there but it's not a staple item for me except the sugar loaded flavored instant tea drinks) but I'm just really curious since they seem to like drinking that tea especially Kim Kwang Kyu. Apparently, the tea they are drinking is Yagwanmun (야관문 - Chinese name 夜关门 - scientific name Lespedeza Cuneata). The Korean and Chinese pronunciation are similar. If I try translating it using Google Translate (by separating each character because if you translate it as one wor...

A'Pieu x Crayon Shin Chan Deep Clean Clear Water Review

Image
A’PIEU Deep Clean Clear Water is a water based cleansing water ideal for cleansing make up residue. The key ingredients are Baking Soda (helps in purifying pores) and Heroget Carbonated water (containing enriched minerals for clarifying skin).  To be honest I only got this because of Crayon Shin Chan. Most toners/cleansing waters from Korean brands that I've tried are either too mild or just leaves a 'moist' feeling after use. It's not necessarily bad, in fact I think gentle/moist cleansers are preferred by most nowadays but it's just much more satisfying for me whenever I get that squeaky clean feeling after using a toner so I'm really happy that this one does just that. I'm not sure if Deep Clean Clear Water is part of their regular line and I really hope it does so I can still purchase it when this one runs out (in case they retire the design soon, it's still on the website but I also saw a Doraemon face contour set on their website recently a...
