Fragrance Mists and Body Mists Review

I tend to acquire decants and samples when I'm in a midst of a crash out (I'd buy actual perfumes whenever I'm in dire mental straits if my funds allow me but it does not!), so might as well put my quick thoughts about them. I'll try to update this list as I try new ones. Bath & Body Works ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ (I have repurchased these) Wild Honeysuckle - FANTASTIC! One of their more complex fragrances that I've tried. Honey right out of the gate. Smells briefly of kisses (type of aroma beads that was popular in the 90s). Then you get a burst of overwhelming jasmine flowers before settling in to subtle medley of florals. Disappointing longevity however, even for a fragrance mist. Wish I could find something that smells the same but would stay much longer. Moonlight Path  - Smells like powdery, musky flowers. Some people would say old lady perfume but this is actually one of my favorites. THE PERFECT BEDTIME SCENT! One thing I've learned is scents either get reformulat...

Movies Round Up Ep. 003 (Elise, Dirty Dancing, Wild and Free, Miss Granny)

Elise (2019) I think this poster is loads better than that awful scriptina font they used on the trailer They've both opened their hearts to others, but Bert ( Enchong Dee ) has always been about Elise ( Janine Gutierrez ) deep down. I felt that Elise eventually went with Bert because... he was just there. I don't know. But then again the story is told from Bert's perspective so it makes sense his feelings were highlighted. I've had that sinking feeling that things aren't going to end up well - youth, humor and nostalgia just couldn't mask that air of foreboding. I'm a sucker for happy endings so I was secretly hoping Elise has pulled through but no. Bert and Elise's parents has already come into terms with her passing so there's that. Movies Round Up Ep. 002 (Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Arrival, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, The Lost Boys)

Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019) exploradora ka ghorl?? After getting past all Dora's ( Isabela Merced ) cringe fourth wall scenes, I started to enjoy the movie more. It isn't that serious but this is definitely for older kids/teens to watch. I loved the flower field scene the best, it was funny and a nice nod to the animated series.  Arrival (2016) tegi time People have been broadcasting messages, leaving time capsules etc. in deep space and I've always wondered how aliens could understand these. I'm not usually into sci-fi films, but this one is subtle and thought provoking. I know heptapods are gentle and all but maaaan they're scary. If you were Louise  ( Amy Adams ), would you still go through with something if you know it'll just end up in tragedy? Snacks Round Up Ep 001 (Kit Kat Popcorn, Fibisco Ginger Snaps, Selecta Pineapple Slice, OK Choco Loops)

Kit Kat Popcorn Smells like popcorn but it oddly tastes only of chocolate. Fibisco Ginger Snaps These are hard as hockey pucks but they're very flavorful and aromatic. They're probably also the cheapest ginger snaps you'll ever find. Selecta Pineapple Slice I don't know if I missed the commercial for these or if its an old product, but I only keep seeing the TVC for the watermelon and mango flavors. This is my fave among the three. OK Choco Loops  These are super good. I've only seen them sold at 7/11 and Landmark.

Movies Round Up Ep. 001 (Little Shop of Horrors, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, The Thing, Heathers)

I've been watching a lot of movies recently and I think it'll be good to write something about them while they're still fresh in my mind. Disclaimer: I do want to be better at expressing my thoughts but I'm pretty much just writing this to help me remember what parts I liked. Little Shop Of Horrors (1986) chomp chomp  Out of all the ones I've watched recently, I think this is my favorite. The songs were enjoyable (my mind automatically singing  little shop, little shoppa horrors  🎶 as I type) and apart from being obsessed with Aubrey's ( Ellen Greene ) outfits I think the overall visuals are great - my favorite bits being Somewhere That's Green and when Seymour ( Rick Moranis ) fed Audrey to Audrey II ( Levi Stubbs ).  The version I watched was the one with the cut ending and I actually would have loved a happy one so I watched the theatrical ending immediately after but didn't really liked it. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Red Messenger Satchel Bag

Out of all the wonderful wardrobe pieces in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, I'm drawn to Sabrina's red satchel bag for some reason (probably because it's something I can actually see myself using). You can probably find something similar on  The Leather Satchel Co.  or  The Cambridge Satchel  although I don't think they do plaid prints all year around. For a readily available (and cheaper) alternative, this bag by ECOSUSI would be your best bet (available at  Amazon  and  DHGate ) I've searched high and low for Sabrina's red bag and have now come into conclusion that it's a custom made bag. In an interview ( here ), one of the show's costume designers has mentioned that Sabrina's wardrobe are inspired by late 60's and early 70's fashion, and most of the pieces are either custom or vintage. Fan Casting the brand list included in Tokyo Girls Collection TGC Shop at Ayala Vertis North

Disclaimer: This is not the official list of brands that will be available at the Tokyo Girls Collection / TGC Shop at Ayala Malls Vertis North . I say "fan casting" because I couldn't think of a better term lmao Here are my personal picks although most of these brands don't appear on the TGC runway. They seem to be wanting to emphasize on "kawaii" and their target market is teens - 20 somethings so I mainly looked at brands that are in Shibuya 109  because I think that's similar to what they're going for PUNYUS https://store.punyus.jp/ I think this is the only brand on my list that usually participates in TGC so there's a high chance that this will actually really be one of their choices. A lot of their clothes go up to 6L (6L is around US 20-ish, but it really depends on the clothing), they do carry standard sizes as well. TGC Shop at Ayala Malls Vertis North Tokyo Girls Collection is known for their huge semiannual fashion festival in Japan but they have also done events in the U.S. , China , Thailand and Indonesia . Hallohallo Inc. , Mitsubishi Corp , Ayala Land of the Ayala Group has partnered with W Tokyo to open up a Tokyo Girls Collection Shop or " TGC Shop " at Ayala Malls Vertis North ! The location will be in the back, near Japan Fudo Street and Timezone Reportedly, the TGC shop is going to be around  4,230 sqm . Apart from the shop area, there's gonna be space for events complete with a runway.
