Fragrance Mists and Body Mists Review

I tend to acquire decants and samples when I'm in a midst of a crash out (I'd buy actual perfumes whenever I'm in dire mental straits if my funds allow me but it does not!), so might as well put my quick thoughts about them. I'll try to update this list as I try new ones. Bath & Body Works ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ (I have repurchased these) Wild Honeysuckle - FANTASTIC! One of their more complex fragrances that I've tried. Honey right out of the gate. Smells briefly of kisses (type of aroma beads that was popular in the 90s). Then you get a burst of overwhelming jasmine flowers before settling in to subtle medley of florals. Disappointing longevity however, even for a fragrance mist. Wish I could find something that smells the same but would stay much longer. Moonlight Path  - Smells like powdery, musky flowers. Some people would say old lady perfume but this is actually one of my favorites. THE PERFECT BEDTIME SCENT! One thing I've learned is scents either get reformulat...

POBOX.PH Air Shipping Review 2018

Image
I wanted to purchase some supplements but the local sellers I usually buy supplements from doesn't have them. I've seen other sellers selling them, along with those alarmingly cheap fake/expired 40 peso lip tints so I didn't want to risk it and decided to just buy them from Amazon. POBox.ph - it's their 10 year anniversary this year! POBox.ph charges  $6.50 per pound or per volumetric weight (whichever is higher) for their air shipping service. They also have a minimum chargeable fee ( 3 lbs .) so minimum air shipping rate is $19.50 on top of the additional 10% of the declared value of shipped items. I'm not sure if they have different rates for certain items like gadgets. Same drill as their sea cargo box:  - purchase the items and ship it to their warehouse - add the items to your account (item name, quantity, store purchased from, tracking if available, etc.) - wait for them to mark the items as 'received' - request for shipping ...

Kiko Mizuhara - Dior's First Beauty Ambassador from Asia

Image
Kiko Mizuhara is at the new product launch of Dior - she's the first Dior beauty ambassador from Asia! They had a product launch featuring the Diorskin Forever Undercover Foundation (which has been out in the U.S./Europe earlier this year). According to another article, she was also wearing Dior Addict Lip Glow and Rouge Dior (shades weren't mentioned). Let's take a look at her outfit: She's wearing all a dress from the Dior SS18 collection Bag is Mini Lady Dior in Mosaic Her shoes seems reflective in some photos, so I'm guessing she's wearing the SS17 Slingback in Black Patent Calfskin Leather and J'adior Ribbon (as opposed to the other similar looking shoe in velvet).

If I Can't Even Afford Ramen I'll Eat The Rich Context

Image
What the If I Can't Even Afford Ramen I'll Eat The Rich protest sign is about I've been seeing this photo on social media but it seems most people don't know the context behind it. If I Can't Even Afford Ramen I'll Eat The Rich People are quick to identify which specific brand of boots the person on the photo was wearing (as well as pointing out that the clothes, makeup, glasses and hair cut looks expensive as well). It has been bothering me that people are taking the sign too literally. The keyword is " if ". IF ramen can't be afforded, a rich person will be eaten instead. Since we haven't received any reports of a rich person getting cannibalized, I guess it's safe to assume the knee high buckle boot wearing protester can still afford ramen. A quick Google search leads to this news article  about a protest held last 29th November by students of the University of Washington regarding the proposed graduate school tax ...
