Fragrance Mists and Body Mists Review

I tend to acquire decants and samples when I'm in a midst of a crash out (I'd buy actual perfumes whenever I'm in dire mental straits if my funds allow me but it does not!), so might as well put my quick thoughts about them. I'll try to update this list as I try new ones. Bath & Body Works ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ (I have repurchased these) Wild Honeysuckle - FANTASTIC! One of their more complex fragrances that I've tried. Honey right out of the gate. Smells briefly of kisses (type of aroma beads that was popular in the 90s). Then you get a burst of overwhelming jasmine flowers before settling in to subtle medley of florals. Disappointing longevity however, even for a fragrance mist. Wish I could find something that smells the same but would stay much longer. Moonlight Path  - Smells like powdery, musky flowers. Some people would say old lady perfume but this is actually one of my favorites. THE PERFECT BEDTIME SCENT! One thing I've learned is scents either get reformulat...

I love Beard Papa .............. not

The first time I saw 'Beard Papa', I knew I had to try the cream puffs right away. Never mind if 50 pesos ($1.13) for a cream puff is too steep for a broke college student like me. I went home, gave the other cream puff to my sister, and then took my first bite. ... .... ..... ...... Well. It wasn't too sweet, which my sister liked. I didn't find anything extraordinary with the cream filling though. I don't know if that branch of 'Beard Papa' just skimped on some ingredients (lol) so the cream puffs didn't tasted the way it should , because the way people rave about Beard Papa, I really expected the cream puffs to be really.... yum. My sister bought a mixed box of 'Beard Papa' yesterday, and again, I was underwhelmed with the cream puffs with toppings. At least the plain ones were better, but still, not good enough to make me spend 50 pesos. Since I'm talking about cream puffs, there is a place near the Philippine Orthopedic Hospi...

Kanashii Tsumi by Jealkb and Tanaka Rie - Ice Tea Romaji Lyrics

Image
I was looking everywhere for the lyrics of the song "Kanashii Tsumi" by Jealkb I found the kanji lyrics here . But since I couldn't read kanji (at least not yet), I used this nifty tool to convert the kanji into romaji. (Thanks to Kristine for sharing the link.) I'll post the lyrics here anyway. Kanashii Tsumi (哀罪) by Jealkb Lyrics by Haderu Music by Elsa toki ha mujou koukai no ito de tsumi o orinasu yume ha midare aoi tameiki ga iro o ubai saru ayameru mae ni nai ta no ha naze ? zankoku na hodo kurikaesa reru ?? hito ha kodoku rakuen no shizuku kawaki o mitase zu tanin no fukou warau no ha naze ? risei ga kika zu fue tsudukeru ?? oikake te mo oikake te mo todoka naku te ai o shiru soba ni i te soba ni i te dakishime te tsunai da te hanasa nai de sorasa nai de mitsume te yo naze surechigau naze kizutsukeru kanashii tsumi kuruoshiku te kuruoshiku te houkou u dake ai o shiru hanare te mo hanare te mo kikoe...

Our Big Binondo Walk

Image
I've been dying to try out The Big Binondo Food Wok, a walking tour organized by the old manila walks team. Right now, I can't afford the tour fee and even if I can, there's no way I can find anyone who's willing to go with me (unless I pay for their share) and I don't want to go on the tour with strangers. So I was really glad when Kristine asked me to accompany her to a Chinese temple (which I learned just moments ago, the Santo Cristo de Longos Shrine ) a few weeks ago. I was so excited we were going to Binondo. Never mind if it's the temple she wants to check out, not the food. Hey, she did mention that she's looking forward to sample some Chinese noodles. I was trying to save up for my own version of 'the Big Binondo Food Wok' but, last week, I went out with two of my dearest friends, Bryle and Gracelle, leaving me broke. Then I couldn't seem to save up this week either. Our case study came up and we needed to pay the fee for the LCD pr...

Digo & Sarah

I'm looking for this story, It was featured in Meg (magazine) last October and December 2002. Its about a boy Digo (short for Indigo) and a girl Sarah. The title in the October issue was "Stoplights and Drive-throughs" and "Big Things Happen Overnight" in the December issue. They were written by Charlene Sawit. I really want to (re)read them. My old magazines got chucked out months ago, and I would really appreciate it if somebody would scan the stories and upload it. Or if anyone is willing to sell their copies, just place a comment below. Thanks! 2021 update - still looking, still interested

Neopets: My New Obsession

Image
my wocky neopet is dying of hunger Update: 11/29/2011 I decided to log in on Neopets so I can get a screenshot for this post when I decided to take a look around and see what's new. There are new maps, more games, and other new features such as Neopets Stock Market  where you can buy and trade stocks (duh?) to earn Neopoints (in game currency). For those people who are still playing Neopets , or are new to Neopets , check out this website . You can consider it a Neopet cheat guide since it has all Neopets Dailies and Neopets Freebies all in one place ( The Daily Neopets ). Very handy in getting free items or in earning neopoints. ________________________________________________________ Neopets is my latest obsession since furushiki and Sims! Oh, I forgot to tell that last week, I became a little bit obsessed with furushiki. Furushiki is a traditional way of wrapping items using a square piece of cloth in Japan. I already know how to do a double bottle wrap, water...

Cheer up with Chona

We went to a resort in Laguna yesterday. But I didn't get to swim. I originally planned on swimming, since we don't really go on vacations often (and we were only going to spend a few hours on the resort). On the way to Laguna, I was reading the book ' The Da Vinci Code ' and ended up spending the rest of the day finishing the book! It was that good! There's a lot of controversy surrounding the book, but I don't see why people have to take it seriously. It's a book. It's fun to read. Get over it. Anyway, my Yahoo Messenger ID got hacked. I was really annoyed so I was looking for funny sites to cheer me up, when I came across this blog ( http://chona.blogspot.com/ ). It's about Chona, a household helper blogging about her day to day experience. It's really funny!

First post!

I don't really know why I keep on making blogs when nobody even cares to visit it. This is my third blog! I'm not good in html or in writing posts but I'd really appreciate it if you guys would bear with me while I'm still finding my footing. I plan to shut down my other blogs and just focus my energy on one, but I'm still deciding on what blog service I'll stick with. Moving on. I'm really addicted to Sims right now, and I'm trying to find skins but one website that has such cute downloads seems to be down ( http://strategyplanet.com ) D:
