Cosrx Blackhead and Pore Zero Patch Review

I ran out of Biore pore strips and I've been wanting to use a pore strip for a few days now and suddenly remembered I have a Cosrx Blackhead and Pore Zero Patch sample lying around.

I was disappointed upon opening it, as it wasn't a pore strip - it's a cotton like patch/mask soaked in liquid. It also has two strips inside and I wasn't sure what to do with the second one so I just sealed the package again for later use (the packaging doesn't reseal but I have my ways).

Instructions for the Step 1 Patch
I applied it on my nose and waited for around 15 minutes. It was the longest 15 minutes of my life since I'm anxious to find out if it will really remove blackheads, because it wasn't exactly a pore strip, it's literally just like other Korean face mask sheets except it is specifically shaped for the nose area.

After removing it, I inspected my face under a flashlight (lol). The instruction was to use a q-tip/cotton swab to remove raised blackheads, sebum and whatnot but I don't see any. I saw around 3 raised blackheads but it may be from me prodding my nose while I was inspecting it. Anyway, to be sure I decided to use the second strip in the package and leave it on longer to see.

After more than 20 minutes, I removed it and inspected my nose again and cannot see anything! I'm so disappointed but I decided to just move on to the next step.

Instructions for the Step 2
Be careful when opening the serum package, when I teared it off most of the product spilled but the remaining was more than enough to cover the nose area and more (so maybe this was meant to be used with a friend since it has two strips in the package and it would be unhygienic to put it away for later use, I know I did but my ass is trashy lol).

Anyway, since there's still lots of serum left I used it on my nose, cheeks and forehead. The serum stings a little. It is reminiscent of when you put alcohol on a wound. Don't panic, it doesn't sting that much but the sensation is similar. It was gone after a few seconds. It was supposed to be pore tightening but when I looked at the mirror my pores looked humongous. My mind is probably playing tricks on me as when I looked at the mirror again after a few hours my pore size looked normal.

I'm curious about a lot of products from Cosrx so I'm glad I got this item as a sample as I now know to avoid this particular item (I'm still interested in other Cosrx products though!)
