Today, I will be writing about my favorite compact powder, Canmake Marshmallow Finish Powder. When I bought this, I didn't really think too much about it. I was just looking for a cute (and cheap) powder compact and this one fits the bill. I got it in the Matte Ochre shade, which is just perfect for my skin.

Upon looking at Canmake's website, here's a list of notable things about this powder:
- has an additive free formulation that can easily be removed with ordinary facial wash
- free from surfactants, tar-based pigments, alcohol and fragrance
- absorbs sebum and makes make-up last longer
- has moisturizing agents like aloe vera leaf extract, rosemary extract, chamomile extract, lemon extract
- has toning agents (for skin firmness) like horse chestnut extract, perilla (shiso) leaf extract
- has emollient agents (for smooth skin) like squalane, olive oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil
- has two different sized spherical powder particles creating a light scattering effect, making pores and uneven skin tone less noticeable

While I'm not too sure about its seemingly (too) good benefits, it does its foremost job creating a smooth, and silky finish well. Even when used alone without the aid of bb creams and whatnot (as what I usually do), it does a great job minimizing pore appearance and other skin imperfections.

It doesn't have a separate compartment for the powder puff, so just don't throw out the plastic film separating the powder and the puff and make sure to clean the puff regularly.
I'll definitely purchase this powder again. Apart from being affordable and cute, it is really just a great product all in all and I'm very satisfied with it.
