Fragrance Mists and Body Mists Review

I tend to acquire decants and samples when I'm in a midst of a crash out (I'd buy actual perfumes whenever I'm in dire mental straits if my funds allow me but it does not!), so might as well put my quick thoughts about them. I'll try to update this list as I try new ones. Bath & Body Works ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ (I have repurchased these) Wild Honeysuckle - FANTASTIC! One of their more complex fragrances that I've tried. Honey right out of the gate. Smells briefly of kisses (type of aroma beads that was popular in the 90s). Then you get a burst of overwhelming jasmine flowers before settling in to subtle medley of florals. Disappointing longevity however, even for a fragrance mist. Wish I could find something that smells the same but would stay much longer. Moonlight Path  - Smells like powdery, musky flowers. Some people would say old lady perfume but this is actually one of my favorites. THE PERFECT BEDTIME SCENT! One thing I've learned is scents either get reformulat...

Kao Liese Prettia Bubble Hair Dye Marshmallow Brown Review

When dyeing my hair, I always go for reds/wines but always hated how the red tint fades away so fast. I haven't dyed my hair in ages so I've decided to dye my hair using Liese Prettia Bubble Hair Dye in Marshmallow Brown.

Liese Prettia Bubble Hair Dye in Marshmallow Brown
I've seen my sister use Etude House Bubble Hair Dye before and I wasn't really impressed with the result. The colour was just too subtle for my liking, so I had my doubts about using bubble hair dyes. Still, using bubble hair dyes just seems so much easier (especially with regards to making sure the colour is even throughout the hair) than regular dyes so I really want to try it out.

At the back of the box shows a chart of how the result should look like depending on your current hair colour (which I forgot to take a picture of). My natural hair colour is somewhere between the darkest colour and the second darkest colour on the back of the box, and the promised result seems bright enough but I wasn't really sure if I'll get the same colour.

The instructions that came with the box illustrated the steps clearly, but if you want the complete English instructions, please see this link:  http://web.kao.com/sg/liese/lineup/haircolor/howto.html

Tools included in the kit
I know the instructions said to leave on the dye for 20-30 minutes, but I wanted to get the lightest colour possible so I left it for almost an hour. I think I've read somewhere that any longer than an hour wouldn't make a difference, but after reading the Q&A section on Kao Liese's website just now, they said that leaving the foam on any longer than 30 minutes would not make any difference with the result. Next time, I think I will still leave it on for more than 30 minutes just to be sure lol.

I have short hair and the mixture was more than enough. I think even if your hair is a little over shoulder length the mixture would be enough to cover your hair completely.

After my hair has been dried out after shampooing and using the rinse-off treatment included in the box, I finally saw my hair. I've been trying to find ways to capture the colour on purely indoor lighting, but my shitty camera can't so here is an outdoor pic taken on a cloudy day:

Liese Prettia Bubble Hair Dye in Marshmallow Brown result
The colour above is darker than how it actually is, but I really can't capture it right so I'm a little frustrated. The result is really close to what was promised on the back of the box, so if ever you want to try out Liese Prettia Bubble Dye, rest assured you'll get great colour even on dark hair.

Another thing I liked about the bubble dye was it didn't stain my skin (for long). It's one of the things that I hate the most about dyeing my hair. I really want to make sure I dyed every nook and cranny so I always end up staining my skin (forehead, arms, back etc.). While I also had dye stains all over with the bubble dye, they can be easily washed off with soap and water.

Will I repurchase? Yes! But I will probably use the Ash Brown colour next.
