Having watched 'Hot Fuzz' and 'Shaun of the Dead', I was on the look out for more Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

Spaced is a British comedy series starring (and written by) Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson. It lasted for 2 seasons with a total of 14 episodes.

Tim Bisley and Daisy Steiner are both flat hunting (fun fact: the place where they met on the first episode is a real cafe - restaurant called 'Diners Delight', located at Teddington, London). Tim is an aspiring comic book artist and the assistant manager of a comic book shop, the 'Fantasy Bazaar'. Daisy is a writer who always puts off writing. The two posed as a professional couple to meet the requirements of a cheap flat despite not knowing each other well. Their landlady, Marsha, accepts them as tenants and houses two other tenants as well. There is Brian, an artist who works with 'more complex things than watercolours'. And Mike, Tim's best friend, a member of the Territorial Army (though he was kicked out of TA for the first few episodes and became a tenant in season 2). A frequent visitor and Daisy's best friend is Twist, a girl who works in 'fashion' and later on became Brian's lover.

I really like this series, but it's too short! Well, the ending is ok I think. It doesn't have that, 'unresolved' feeling but still. For those interested, you can watch all the episodes for free on Youtube (links below):
