Fragrance Mists and Body Mists Review

I tend to acquire decants and samples when I'm in a midst of a crash out (I'd buy actual perfumes whenever I'm in dire mental straits if my funds allow me but it does not!), so might as well put my quick thoughts about them. I'll try to update this list as I try new ones. Bath & Body Works ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ (I have repurchased these) Wild Honeysuckle - FANTASTIC! One of their more complex fragrances that I've tried. Honey right out of the gate. Smells briefly of kisses (type of aroma beads that was popular in the 90s). Then you get a burst of overwhelming jasmine flowers before settling in to subtle medley of florals. Disappointing longevity however, even for a fragrance mist. Wish I could find something that smells the same but would stay much longer. Moonlight Path  - Smells like powdery, musky flowers. Some people would say old lady perfume but this is actually one of my favorites. THE PERFECT BEDTIME SCENT! One thing I've learned is scents either get reformulat...

Shows Round Up Ep 005 (Malory Towers, The Worst Witch, A Little Princess)

Malory Towers (2020)



Based on the book series of the same name by Enid Blyton, this show follows the life of Darrell Rivers (Ella Bright), and her room mates at Malory Towers. Apart from me wanting throw hands with Gwen (Danya Griver), it's a nice and light show that I'd highly recommend to kids (and grown ups too). I hope there will be another season.

The Worst Witch (2017)



The story is mainly about Mildred Hubble and the people at Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches. It is based on the books written by Jill Murphy. I'm a bit sad that Bella Ramsey (who played Mildred Hubble in the first 3 seasons) left the show but it's for her health so she knows what's best. I haven't watched the season 4 yet with Lydia Page as the new Mildred Hubble, but the story and the cast has been really solid so far, so I have high hopes. 

A Little Princess (1986)



I'm pretty sure most people has either seen the 1995 film version or the 1985 anime adaptation (or both!) so the story needs no intro. For once, I have read the book and I must say among the other more popular adaptations of 'A Little Princess' this is the closest one to the story in the book. I have no idea why this hasn't been remade into another film or series yet (hello? CBBC?) especially since A Secret Garden is getting a movie this year (which I'm looking forward to as I've loved the 1993 film a lot and have watched it several times over the years).
